As you close the doors on 2015, it’s important to take time to reflect on the significance of your year. I encourage you to sit down with a good cup of coffee (or tea) and give thanks for the tiny victories.
It’s not unusual to celebrate the big successes. That promotion? Yeah, you’re going out for wine. Engagements and reunions? Hello, tropical vacation!
It’s easy to forget that the big achievements are really just a culmination of the little wins along the way. When you choose to feel good about the small things, you create the energy and space for your greatest dreams and deepest desires to come true.
So when you think back on the past 12 months, remember the seemingly insignificant triumphs. Find gratitude for the baby steps. Because it’s the unexpected encounters, the right words at the right time, that sense of relief, those laugh-til-it-hurts moments and the presumably ‘ordinary’ days that set you up for the momentous accomplishments.
In other words? Don’t wait to celebrate. You have plenty to toast to right now. 🙂
